Searchcord

Searchcord is an archival initiative to index and store messages and attachments from public Discord servers. With forums dying out and AI slop taking over the internet, Discord has become the go-to place for discussion for many communities. Unfortunately, Discord does not make it easy to globally search their data, especially in a privacy preserving way. Nobody wants to join a server to ask a simple question that likely has already been asked before. Searchcord aims to solve this problem by archiving public Discord servers and making their data searchable. Unlike other indexers which were usually made for the express purpose of doxing, Searchcord is designed to protect the privacy of users. Any searches that involve author IDs must also be filtered by a guild ID or a channel ID, making it equivalent to searching a Discord server using the built in search. If you are still not comfortable with your data being indexed, you can always opt out.
