As a general practitioner you have two options to revalidate: the option of revalidating through the University of Chile or by passing the EUNACOM exam. The best option is to pass the EUNACOM exam, because if you revalidate through the University of Chile, then EUNACOM is still required to practice in the public system, to study a specialty and for some other matters. Being a specialist, in short you have the option of revalidating as a general practitioner (which can be done through the University of Chile or through passing the EUNACOM exam) and you also have the option of certifying your specialty (before CONACEM), which qualifies you to practice your specialty in the public system. Your best alternative is to give priority to passing EUNACOM (since in Chile there is no law on medical specialties and EUNACOM is also required for specialists):
