For people in the United States who receive unfamiliar or unwanted calls, NoCall helps check a number before answering or calling back. Search a phone number or business name to see community reports, call categories, and comments that may indicate whether it is associated with telemarketing, scams, or other unwanted calls. Users can also report suspicious numbers to share information with the community. The mobile app can identify reported callers and, with automatic blocking enabled, block numbers matched against its synced spam database. SMS features depend on the device: iPhone users can filter suspicious texts, while Android users can manually check a message they choose to provide. NoCall is useful for screening unknown callers and managing spam, but its results are based on reports and may not identify every number.
