BuildJet was for development teams using GitHub Actions whose builds, tests, or other CI jobs were slow on standard hosted runners. It ran workflows on managed machines with high-performance gaming CPUs, which users selected in their workflow configuration. Available runner options included AMD and ARM machines with different CPU and memory sizes, and a compatible cache action could store dependencies between runs. BuildJet’s GitHub Actions runner service stopped running jobs on March 31, 2026. It is therefore not suitable for teams looking for an active hosted runner service.
