What are cookies?
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, the types of cookies we use (i.e., the information we collect using cookies and how that information is used), and how to manage your cookie settings.
Cookies are small text files used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when a website loads in your browser. These cookies help ensure that the website functions properly, enhance security, provide a better user experience, and analyse performance to identify what works and where improvements are needed.
How do we use cookies?
We use cookies to keep the website working, to remember your preferences, and to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
What we use cookies for
Keeping the website working. Signing you in and keeping you signed in, remembering the language you chose, protecting the site from abuse, and taking payment when you buy something. These are needed for the website to function, so they cannot be switched off. Payments are handled by Paddle, and security checks by Cloudflare.
Understanding how the site is used. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit and which links they use, so we know what to improve. This tells us about visits, not about you personally — we do not use it to build a profile of you or to advertise to you. Where the law requires your consent, these cookies are only set after you agree, and you can change your mind at any time. They last up to two years.
Crediting referrals. If you arrived through one of our partners, we remember which partner sent you so we can pay them their commission if you subscribe. Nothing about your browsing is shared with them. This lasts 90 days.
Remembering your cookie choice. So we do not ask you again on every page.
Your appearance preference, such as dark mode, is kept in your browser's own storage rather than in a cookie, and never leaves your device.
Manage cookie preferences
You can modify your cookie settings anytime by clicking the 'Consent Preferences' button above. This will allow you to revisit the cookie consent banner and update your preferences or withdraw your consent immediately.
Additionally, different browsers offer various methods to block and delete cookies used by websites. You can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Below are links to support documents on how to manage and delete cookies in major web browsers.
