Voice Capture is a voice survey tool for collecting spoken answers to open-ended questions. It embeds a microphone-enabled widget in surveys on Alchemer and QuestionPro, and can also work with Sawtooth or web forms that support custom HTML or JavaScript. Respondents can answer by voice in their browser or use text mode instead. The app transcribes spoken responses into editable text in seconds, so research teams can review and export survey data for analysis. Exports include CSV and Excel, with API access available on supported plans. An optional AI follow-up can ask a respondent one additional question when an answer needs more detail. Voice Capture supports mobile and desktop browsers, and processes audio without retaining the audio files; transcribed text is stored for review and export.
