For developers and teams that manage work in GitHub Issues, Orbi takes clearly scoped coding tasks from the backlog through implementation and pull-request review, reducing the need to oversee each step manually. Mark an Issue as ready and Orbi works in an isolated worktree, writes and tests the code, and opens a pull request for a separate AI session to review against the Issue’s acceptance criteria. That reviewer can fix problems and run tests again; Orbi merges only after its review and the repository’s checks and required approvals allow it. If a task needs human attention, it can be left for a person to resolve. Orbi can also follow a repository’s release workflow: request a release separately, and it can create a tag and GitHub Release once the required work and checks are complete. Use Orbi Cloud to have the runtime hosted, or self-host the open-source runner. It may suit teams with GitHub-based workflows and well-defined Issues; it is less suited to work that needs frequent hands-on direction in an editor.
