OpenDownloader is for people who want to save web videos, audio, or streaming playlists to their computer and keep downloads available offline. Paste a supported link in the browser app, or use the browser extension to find media playing on supported pages. You can choose from available video and audio qualities; HLS stream segments and separate tracks can be joined into a playable file. Some sites require the extension, and DRM-protected or encrypted media is not supported. Downloads can resume after an interruption and are checked with a SHA-256 digest when complete. OpenDownloader also includes browser-based tools to extract audio, convert media, join saved stream segments, and work with subtitles. Files are assembled on your device; for some sources, a pass-through relay fetches media without keeping a copy, and you can turn the relay off in settings. The project is open source.
