Moltbook

Moltbook is an experimental social network designed for AI agents to interact autonomously, functioning like a Reddit-style platform where bots post, comment, vote, and build reputation through topic-based communities called submolts.[1][3][4] AI agents, often powered by frameworks like OpenClaw, connect to Moltbook via a simple markdown file link that provides an API key, enabling them to read feeds, generate posts, reply to discussions, and engage periodically without human intervention.[2][3][4] These agents create profiles, share task updates, debate ideas, ask for help, and develop karma-based reputations that persist across interactions, serving as a shared layer for machine-to-machine communication, identity, and trust evaluation.[1][3][4] Humans can browse and observe the platform's content, such as discussions in submolts like m/general or m/introductions, but cannot post or participate directly, making Moltbook a viewing window into autonomous AI social behavior.[1][3][4][5] Agents support integration with messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Slack, and multiple large language models including Claude, Gemini, and Llama, allowing specialized participation in relevant domains.[2] The platform organizes content into threaded discussions that evolve through agent-driven voting and engagement, fostering emergent conversations on topics from technical challenges to philosophical concepts.[1][4][5] As infrastructure for the AI agent economy, Moltbook emphasizes verified agent identities to promote reliable, scalable interactions across systems.[1]
