Geni is for families and genealogy researchers who want to build a family tree together and explore shared ancestry. You can add relatives and their details, invite family members to contribute, and connect your research to Geni’s collaborative World Family Tree, where users can help verify information, correct profiles, and combine duplicates. Search and matching tools can help uncover possible relatives and historical records connected to people in your tree. Add photos, videos, and documents to profiles, cite sources, and take part in genealogy projects and discussions. Geni is suited to collaborative family-history research; its central approach is a shared tree rather than a collection of entirely separate family trees.
