BricksSync

BricksSync is a tool designed to synchronize templates, settings, and components created with Bricks Builder across multiple websites or environments. It allows users to export and import Bricks templates and components as structured JSON files, enabling easy tracking of changes, version control via Git, and smooth migration between development, staging, and production sites. The app uses name-based identity management to prevent ID collisions and ensures consistency by directly pulling data from connected sites through built-in Direct Transfers. Key features include template and component syncing with full traceability using manifests, support for batch syncing, and dedicated management of components by category, version, and hash. BricksSync supports workflows for multisite setups and parent themes and is designed to be nonintrusive and optional – it does not replace or modify Bricks Builder itself, allowing users to add or remove it without leaving residual effects. This approach provides a professional, file-based development process on top of Bricks Builder's existing capabilities, facilitating collaboration, deployment, and maintenance of websites built with Bricks.
