AstroAlgos is for stargazers who want to see what is above their location or plan an observing session for another date and time. Its all-sky map places the point directly overhead at the centre and the horizon around the edge, making it easier to see how high objects are and where to look. Set your location, then explore the positions of the planets, Moon, bright stars and constellations. An information panel shows each object’s compass direction, altitude and constellation, along with the Moon’s phase and sky conditions. Adjust the star magnitude limit and toggle names or constellation lines to tailor the map to your viewing conditions. Choose a date and time and press Play to see the sky’s movement; separate north- and south-facing views offer another way to read the chart. AstroAlgos is suited to casual skywatching and planning naked-eye, binocular or small-telescope observations.
