It detects text in the image, translates it into a chosen language and places the translation over the original text, making it useful for menus and signs as well as manga, webtoons, app screens and scanned pages. You can download the result as a PNG or view the original text alongside its translation. Choose AI mode for comics, stylised lettering and busy images, or Fast mode for cleaner screenshots and documents. In Fast mode, text recognition runs in your browser and only the extracted words are sent for translation; AI mode sends a reduced copy of the image for processing. The browser-based tool accepts PNG, JPG and WebP images, works without an account or watermark, and includes automatic language detection.
