Glowing Bear is for WeeChat users who want to keep up with IRC conversations from a web browser on a computer, tablet, or phone. It connects to your existing WeeChat setup, so it is a browser-based interface rather than a standalone IRC service; you’ll need to configure and make your WeeChat relay reachable from your device. Use it to switch between IRC channels and other WeeChat buffers, follow nicklists and unread messages, search buffer history, and send messages with keyboard shortcuts. Glowing Bear can also embed images, videos, and other content in conversations. You can adjust the theme, fonts, and layout, and enable options such as sound notifications. Connections go directly between your browser and WeeChat, with no Glowing Bear cloud service in between; encrypted relay setup is recommended when connecting over the internet.
