Bokio was designed for UK small businesses and sole traders who want to manage bookkeeping, invoices and expenses in one place. It imported bank transactions, let users upload receipts and supplier invoices, and suggested bookkeeping categories to help record transactions. Users could create and track customer invoices, manage expenses, and review reports such as profit and loss and balance sheets. Businesses registered for VAT could prepare and submit Making Tax Digital VAT returns to HMRC, and invite an accountant or team members to collaborate. A mobile app let users photograph and upload receipts and invoices. Bokio UK closed on 7 July 2026 and is no longer available to UK users.
