Giga Manga

Giga Manga is an online experiment that allows users to create unique manga characters with the help of machine learning.

For this experiment, a model trained on more than 140,000 high-resolution images was used to predict and suggest how a drawing might develop. A colorization model—called Adeleine—was then customized to detect the colored scribbles added to the drawing and color it accordingly.

Finally, CLIP and OpenCV, combined with the ANNOY library, were utilized to help search for the drawing's closest match in the Google Arts & Culture manga collection.
