Concurrent powers the full rental journey, helping property managers find tenants faster, execute tenancies seamlessly, automate rent reconciliation, and report on critical financial and operational data.

Concurrent is part of the StuRents Group, founded in 2008 by Mike Lehan, Michael Rainsford, and Tom Walker while they were students at Durham University. The original mission of the group was to make it easier for renters to find available properties and make informed decisions when choosing their next home.

The business quickly expanded nationwide, and in 2015 the platform introduced its first property management features, enabling operators to manage and sign tenancy agreements electronically online.

Eight years later, the 2023 rebrand of the property management system to Concurrent reflects the diversity of property managers supported by the platform, spanning student accommodation, build-to-rent, co-living, and residential lettings.
