Developers never need to handle encryption keys when using Evervault. Primitives use a dual-security model, meaning we store encryption keys and you store encrypted data.

Evervault enables you to securely collect, store, and process cardholder data while ensuring compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Our platform provides a suite of tools to help you build secure payment flows, including the ability to collect card data, process payments with multiple third-party services, and handle card updates.

The Evervault API allows developers to interact programmatically with their Evervault apps using HTTP requests. The Evervault API is built around REST.

The API has predictable resource-oriented URLs, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.
