The object of Metrodle is to guess your destination on the London Underground. The map at the top of your screen shows a zoomed in section of the tube map, with the target station in the middle. You have 6 guesses to arrive at your destination. The map starts with no station names and the lines on the map are not coloured in. An incorrect guess will show the names of any stations and will colour in any lines that appear on the zoomed in section of map. The guess output will show you how many stops you are from your destination and in which direction it is from your guess.
